Service overview

SalvageWatch aggregates publicly available inventory information from participating auto salvage yards and presents it for your convenience. The site is provided for informational purposes only.

Data accuracy and attribution

Inventory details, pricing information, and yard policies originate from the respective salvage yards and companies. We display this information with attribution to the original source whenever possible. The data is provided “as is” and may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or unavailable. Always confirm hours, pricing, vehicle availability, and rules directly with the yard before traveling or making a purchase.

User responsibilities

You agree to use SalvageWatch only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for verifying that the information presented on the site meets your needs.

Premium subscriptions and recurring billing

SalvageWatch Premium is offered as a monthly or yearly recurring subscription. The price and billing interval shown before checkout apply to your purchase. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe and SalvageWatch to charge the applicable subscription price and any required taxes at checkout and automatically at the start of each renewal period until you cancel.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through the Stripe customer portal linked from SalvageWatch. Unless otherwise stated at cancellation, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, and Premium access remains available until that period ends. Deleting your SalvageWatch account or stopping use of the service does not by itself cancel a subscription.

Refunds

Payments are generally non-refundable and we do not provide credits for partially used billing periods, except where required by law or when we determine that special circumstances justify a refund. If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us.

Premium features

Premium currently includes the features described on the billing page. We may improve, replace, limit, or discontinue features over time. References to planned or coming-soon features describe our current intentions and are not a guarantee that a feature will launch by a particular date or remain included in a specific subscription.

Notifications and service reliability

Saved searches, daily summaries, alerts, and other notifications are convenience features and are not guaranteed to be complete, immediate, uninterrupted, or error-free. Delivery may be delayed or prevented by source-data availability, third-party services, email providers, device settings, or other circumstances. You remain responsible for verifying vehicle availability and other time-sensitive information directly with the relevant yard.

Limitation of liability

SalvageWatch disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted availability. We are not responsible for any losses, delays, missed opportunities, or damages arising from reliance on information or notifications provided by the service, including but not limited to vehicle availability, parts pricing, policies, alerts, or transactions with salvage yards.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
